Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month except June when the club picnic is held and our December Christmas party. During the first part of the meeting visitors and new members are introduced. We then have our program presentation for that month. After the program we take a break and enjoy refreshments and conversation. Following break we will present our show and tell items; each person shares information about the items they brought and photos are taken. Each person has the opportunity talk about how it was made and how it was finished. While we do not critique anyone’s work, we all have the opportunity to ask questions or talk about problems or challenges that occurred during the turning and finishing process. Following Show and Tell we have our business meeting where we have the secretaries and treasures reports and cover and new and old business. Once each quarter we hold a raffle. Members are asked to bring something for the raffle which can be anything from vegetables to wood and everything in between. Tickets are sold 6 for $5 and then numbers are drawn and items selected. It is a great way to earn money for the club.
